About Us

As a 3rd-generation flooring professional, flooring is in my blood.  My grandfather was a flooring installer for many years, then owned his own flooring sales business.  My father was a flooring installer, then went into commercial flooring project management, where he still works today.  My stepfather was a flooring installer for many years, and alongside my mother, they own and have managed a flooring business for over 30 years.

I grew up around job sites and remember vividly the distinct smell of the warehouses, the smell of the hot iron melting the adhesive on seam tape, picking up trash and scraps, crawling around carpet samples in my grandfather’s van, sitting on rolls of carpet and pad as we drove to job sites. I have some scars from those early days that bring back fond memories when I was installing tack strip and pad, spreading glue, and helping wherever I could.

I went away from the flooring business for some time and received my BSBA from UMSL and MBA from Lindenwood. For the last 20 years prior to coming back to flooring, I held Senior Leadership positions in manufacturing, working side by side leading Teams of people, driving results.

I am back to where I came from, being involved in the flooring industry, and have been here for the past several years. I love working with clients and our Teams to come up with solutions that exceed our clients' expectations in their pursuit of transforming their spaces.

I am fortunate to be able to work side by side with my two daughters, mother, stepfather, brother, and nephew daily.  It truly is something we are all passionate about. We are dedicated to earning our clients' respect and to being their lifelong flooring partners.  We pride ourselves on providing exceptional client service based on integrity, responsiveness, and a people-centric approach.

In my free time, in the summer, you will find me hanging with my wife of 28 years, my granddaughter, daughters, family, and friends, boating on the Mississippi River.  We love to volunteer and support local businesses, love to travel, are huge dog lovers, and try to make the most out of each day with a positive outlook on the future.

I am a 2nd-generation flooring professional with over a decade in the industry and have worn many hats in the trade. I have been a helper picking up scraps and fetching tools, I have been an employee installer, a Subcontractor, I spent time estimating, Selling product, completing trade certifications, and managing a multistate workforce of field managers and flooring contractors. I have experience in all types of floor coverings such as carpet, vinyl, tile/backsplash, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl plank. I have learned that in flooring no matter what role you are in the common goal is to transform the clients space and give them the best experience possible. That is something I strive to do on a daily basis no matter what hat I am wearing. I get to work alongside my Brother, Nephew, and two nieces on a daily basis so when we say we are a family business we really mean it. I have two sons that one day will hopefully be involved in the business as well. Outside of flooring my family loves to be outside. We enjoy fishing, boating, BBQing, and other outdoor activities. My brother Greg, nephew Max, and I operate Mid America Flooring Solutions and have parents that built and own a very successful installation company within the flooring trade. We ultimately value the opportunity to provide great service to our customers and strive to give the best experience in the flooring industry. 

I began my journey in my family's flooring business at 15, starting in the warehouse and learning the industry from the ground up. Over the years, I worked my way into flooring sales, bringing hands-on experience, product knowledge, and a customer-first approach to every project. Today, I'm proud to help clients find flooring solutions that fit their style, lifestyle, and budget.

As part of a multigenerational, family-owned company, I'm fortunate to work alongside my grandparents, two uncles, and other family members. Growing up in the business has shaped my values and instilled a strong commitment to craftsmanship, honesty, and exceptional service.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Sky. We love traveling and exploring new countries, and when we're home, you'll usually find us relaxing, cooking, and enjoying good food and great company.
